Pete Dunne has been a staple in NXT for years now. We saw him on the main roster for a few appearances on the main roster but besides that, he’s been very stable in NXT. Fans have wanted him permanently on the main roster but they may not happen.
WWE has reportedly been making errors with contracts recently, like not changing Alister Black’s 30-day non-compete-clause when he moved up to the main roster, or a recent report of WWE letting Adam Coles’s contract run up and not realizing it.
It now seems that Pete Dunne may be in the same position. According to Fightful Select, Pete Dunne is in a situation similar to Cole. No additional details were given, but his deal is about to run up soon
The situation was “similar to that of Adam Cole’s” but haven’t been given any additional details besides that his contract is in fact coming up soon.
