This morning the wrestling world learned of the passing of wrestling legend Bobby Eaton. We reported earlier this week that Eaton was hospitalized after a bad fall. Eaton was one-half of the famous tag team the Midnight Express ‘Sweet’ Stan Lane and Dennis Condray before him. He also teamed up with Arn Anderson in the Dangerous Alliance and won tag gold.
He paved the way for so many not only in the tag-team division but the business as a whole. So many in the business respected Eaton, and it is showing in his passing as wrestlers are coming together to help pay for his final expenses. Matt Sigmon a wrestler who was previously involved in a tribute show for Eaton tweeted that he had started a GoFund Me to help the Eaton family pay for the wrestler’s final expense.
