On last night’s edition of NXT UK it was announced that they will be holding the second NXT UK Heritage cup, NXT UK held the first ever Heritage Cup in 2020 as part of their restart, with Spanish superstar A-Kid becoming the inaugural winner and NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion.
A- Kid would go on to successfully defend the heritage cup against the likes of Tyler Bate and Sha Samuels before eventually dropping the cup to Tyler Bate. The winner of this Heritage Cup Tournament, will become the No. 1 Contender for Tyler Bates NXT Heritage Championship Cup.
8 competitors were announced along with the first round match ups including;
Mark Andrews vs Noam Dar
Kenny Williams vs Oliver Carter
Wolfgang vs Sam Gradwell
Nathan Frazer vs Teoman
The tournament kicks off next week on NXT UK with Noam Dar vs Mark Andrews, you can catch all the action next Thursday from 3pm EST on peacock streaming service in the U.S or 8pm GMT on the WWE Network everywhere else.
