It’s no secret to WWE fans that Jimmy Uso has been dealing with personal issues dealing with alcohol and a few DUI’s including the most recent in July. Post arrest Uso was reunited with his brother Jay and captured the WWE Smackdown Tag team Title. He was also put into the head of the family storyline with his cousin WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
While in a recent interview with the New York Post Reigns spoke on his cousin’s most recent arrest. Roman made it clear “we’re all human” but he also made it clear that nor does he approve of Uso’s actions. he stated that it’s “not a great light to be shining ” on his WWE family.
“We’re all human, we’re all cynics, we all make mistakes,” Reigns said. “Instead of what some people might feel you should give up on somebody or maybe turn your back on that type of behavior, that’s one way to do it. But I don’t think that’s the way to push through and gain experience or make progressive movements of becoming a better man or a better human. So for me, it was diving into it with great attention, great love and very thorough communication to make sure my family is continually bettering themselves and putting themselves in a position to make better decisions.”
This is a very touchy subject that would not normally be spoken on, especially since Jimmy is in a current storyline. Hopefully, this is the final mistake on Jimmys end and he can move on from this and not this incident leave a blemish on his career.
