The IIconics were just two more talents who were victims of the recent release spree that WWE has been on. Cassie Lee(formerly Peyton Royce) and Jessica McKay(formerly Billie kay) have not shown up in any companies since their releases from the WWE, but not because they are not being booked, but due to a Visa issue that the duo is having.
Things could be changing very soon for the duo if they can find a permanent landing spot in the landscape of wrestling. According to Fightful select, Lee and McKay have been “active in the free-agent market”. that being said, it’s unclear where they will land at this point. There was interest from Impact about bringing in the duo , but there is interest elsewhere as well.
We’re told that the IIconics had interest from Impact wrestling recently, but for now, it doesn’t appear that a deal is being made. However, we’ve heard there has been interest from a new wrestling program scheduled for fall.
The IIconics team would be a great fit for any company that would have them. They never got a proper chance to fully show what they could do in the ring and on the mic during their tenor with WWE.
