SummerSlam is being held in Las Vegas this weekend, and WWE is kicking off this weekend’s festivities with open tryouts. Many hopefuls flocked to Vegas to try their luck at becoming the next big WWE superstar.
Recently the WWE has made many questionable cuts and has left not only the WWE universe fans scratching their heads but also have executives at the USA Network confused and not happy. It was reported that 13 out of the 16 contracts were offered. There were said to be 38 attendees in all.
According to Triple H, there has been no real shift in what the company is looking for in terms of future WWE superstars. Given the present state of NXT and both the Raw and Smackdown rosters, we will have to see how they all shape up in the future as it is obvious the company is headed in a new direction.
