Monday Night jaBROnis (RAW Review 8/23/21)

After an unforgettable weekend of professional wrestling, it’s time for some WWE Raw, which was live from San Diego at the Pechanga Arena.

Before we start here, I have a quick question?

Why was the company’s top champion not even featured at Summerslam?!?

He better be on the show and maybe he can even do a flip over an ice cream truck in a park or something along those lines. I know I’m asking for a lot but a little girl boy can dream!

Hot Bobby and MVP made their way out and wanted everyone to know that Goldberg, his son and all of San Diego are a bunch of cowards. Hot Bobby also says that anyone who thinks he owes Goldberg and his son an apology can, “GO TO HELL!”.

The brand new United States Champion, Damian Priest, came down to challenge Hot Bobby to a match face to face. Priest says that Lashley Hot Bobby is a coward if he doesn’t accept the challenge. Hot Bobby just needs to throw on his hot ring gear and it’s on!

Damian Priest vs. Hot Bobby Lashley

So here we go! We got Hot Bobby versus Damien Priest…

Sheamus instantly interferes which leads to McIntyre coming down for the save. When we come back from commercial, I’m almost certain we’re getting a tag match!

Damian Priest & Drew McIntyre vs. Hot Bobby Lashley & Sheamus

Towards the end of the match, Hot Bobby decided to leave Sheamus and started heading to the back. This led to Drew getting tagged in and hitting Sheamus with the Claymore for the win. It’s nice to see Priest getting a win right after becoming a champion. It’s even nicer to see him still bashing a Jinder ginger!

Karrion Kross vs. Ricochet

Kross wins but I really think they hate this guy. Twitter can finish this one up for me!

The Miz vs. Xavier Woods

The Miz came down and ruined Moist TV, where John Morrison had on special guest, Logan Paul. We find out that Logan Paul is a Paul Heyman New Day guy. Logan left the ring while Morrison and Miz continued to argue in the ring. Xavier Woods made his way out, high fived Logan and headed to the ring. Shenanigans occurred during the match. On the outside of the ring, Morrison sprayed the floor with water right in front of the stairs.

The Miz inevitably slip and slid himself into the stairs. The Miz also had a pinfall on Woods but the ref was distracted by Morrison on the ring apron. Woods then small packaged The Miz for the win. The Miz seemed furious but Morrison grabbed the Drip Sticks and brought them in the ring to get all the fans wet.

But then…

Skull Crushing Finale to Morrison! This needed to happen awhile ago, but I’ll take it!

REGGIE got BARS!

OMFG! I fished my wish!

Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. vs Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax

Some backstage segments set up this match. I don’t know what is going on but I do know know this will all somehow end with Shayna taking another pin. Nikki A.S.H. got her ass kicked the entire match and only hit one move which was a crossbody. That led to Rhea hitting a headbutt and Riptide to Shayna (OF COURSE!) for the win.

MEMBER SHAYNA!

AJ Styles vs. Riddle

A celebration for RK-Bro winning the tag titles was underway which included balloons, pyro and Randy being gifted with a blue scooter with purple tassels! AJ and Omos came out to ruin the party and tried to pin Riddle and Randy against each other. This however did not work and we got Riddle versus Styles. The finish saw Orton attack Omos with his new scooter outside the ring. This distraction led Riddle to hit a running knee and the Bro Derrick for the win! When Styles got back to his feet, Orton hit him with an RKO to end the show.

They were promoting a few matches for next week which was good to see but I just can’t get over to what they did to Karrion Kross. Trying to make someone look like a complete jackass. They tried to do the same shit to the Revival before they eventually left the company.

Remember these!
