We reported that in July Adam Coles’s contract with NXT had expired yet Cole Agreed to extend his contract till right after Nxt’s Takeover:36. While there were reports that WWE had writers prepare storylines for a call-up to the main roster for Adam Cole after he reportedly met personally with Vince McMahon, but nothing ever came of it.
Well now according to a report from Fightfule Select, Coles’s contract is 100% expired. He can now field offers from other companies and is expected to do so. It was also noted that cole canceling his twitch stream on Friday had nothing to do with the situation.
WWE sources also indicated that Cole is expected to field offers, and that he was not at Smackdown last Friday, and was not meeting with Vince McMahon as many had suspected when he canceled his stream.
