Io Shirai has not been seen on NXT television since she and Zoey Stark secured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships, shortly after she disappeared and now fans have been wondering what happened to her.
According to a Fightful Select report, Io Shirai is healthy and is able to work. She just has not been utilized in recent memory. It is now being reported that she had actually worked the last set of NXT tapings.
We’re told Shirai is fine and wrestled on this past week’s set of NXT tapings. She’s said to be healthy and fine.
Stark and Shirai still have hold of the Tag Team Belts, but challengers are very limited. We will have to see who will be the next Challengers to step up and challenge the team.
