Yesterday Daffney Unger made a concerning video, where she was visibly emotionally distraught and was not doing well mentally. Many attempts were made from many around the wrestling community to try and get some help to her and check on her well-being.
Unfortunately this morning TMZ reported that responders were unable to contact Daffney at her home. There were attempts to enter her residence but had some issues. It is now being reported that Daffney has passed away.
April Hunter posted a tweet explaining what happened. She stated that there was an issue with the apartment management and police over the “rights” regarding opening the door to Daffney’s apartment, which took a long time to figure out.
Most wrestling fans remember Daffney from her early time in WCW and TNA. She last wrestled on April 10 2011 where she defeated Sammi Lane at a PWF event in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
