Bobby Fish To Make His Debut For MLW
Back in August Bobby Fish was released by NXT along with a handful of other talents that included former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed. Fish has made a few appearances since his release with the most recent being this past Saturday when he appeared for PPW’s Fan Fest in Brodheadsville, PA. He now has another upcoming show.
MLW announced today on its Twitter account that Fish will be making his debut for the company on October 2nd during the companies Opera Cup. The Cup will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the famous 2300 Arena. This will be Fish’s first non-NXT action since 2017. Last week MLW announced their first five of the eight-man field: Tom Lawlor, TJP, Calvin Tankman, Matt Cross, and Davey Richards. The remaining two will be announced in the weeks ahead.
The Fightland-themed event will also feature World Champion Jacob Fatu vs. National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone in a title vs. title match
I was not noted if Fish has signed with the company so we will have to wait and see what this will lead to.
