Pete Dunne Agrees To Long Term Contract With WWE
Pete Dunn was in an interesting contract situation when it was revealed that like Adam Coles’s contract, Dunne’s contract was overlooked and was not realized until it was nearing its expiration date. It was reported that during Summerslam weekend Dunne was offered a contract from the company but no confirmation was made if he had agreed.
Fightful Select is now reporting that Pete Dunne has agreed to a long-term contract with WWE. Sources close to the situation are reporting that Tuesday afternoon Dunne agreed to a new three-year deal which was personally offered by Triple H.
WWE sources confirmed to Fightful Tuesday afternoon that Dunne agreed to a new three-year deal which was actually said to have been personally offered by Triple H before he was sidelined recently. Dunne, along with Adam Cole, had a surprise contract expiration in July.
Dunne is scheduled to be in a fatal four-way match against LA Knight, Kyle O’Reilly, and Tommaso Champa for the recently vacated NXT Championship.
