Since making his debut in AEW Miro has been forced to be reckoned with and has blown through the competition cementing himself as a top star in the company. God’s Favorite Champ has held the TNT title for over 125 days and if it’s up to him that number will continue to grow.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned AEW’s current direction for the AEW TNT Title. It appears that Miro will face Sammy Guevara next, and Fuego Del Sol was how he arrived at that feud.
“The basic gist there is they’re building to Miro and Sammy Guevara. So that’s the direction, and honestly, I think Sammy Guevara should beat Miro for the championship.”
Miro is slated to face Fuego Del Sol for a second time on Friday’s episode of Rampage, so we will have to see if Miro can hold on to the title.
