The Way has been a must-watch stable on the NXT brand, But it looks like the group’s time together is soon coming to an end. Austin Theory was on this past Tuesday’s debut episode of NXT 2.0. We saw him take part along with Johnny Gargano in the wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, and this is the first time we have seen him on NXT tv in a few weeks and it looks like this may have been the last time we will see him on NXT going forward.
Austin Theory tweeted out a message to The Way, his stable with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell. He had some great times and thanked them for everything, but now he is onto that “next level.”
The Way helped me get to that next level as a performer. I can’t thank the people I was surrounded by enough. If you got lost in reality with what we gave you then we did our job
Now on to that next level

As it looks like we know what is next for Theory, Johnny Gargano and Candice LaRae’s future plans are unknown, especially since LaRae is currently out of action as she is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child.
