AEW has made itself a destination where pro wrestlers wanna be. Between the talk of stars being able to be in more control of their own creative direction or just the talk of the positive vibes in the locker room, it has definitely set a precedent when it comes to other promotions.
One of AEW biggest and brightest stars Kenny Omega has never shied away from speaking his mind on AEW compared to other promotions, as for example while he spoke to Tokyo Sports, Kenny Omega was asked if more WWE Superstars will be making their way to AEW after the debuts of Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole. Omega claimed that 90% of WWE Superstars want to be in AEW right now.
There’s definitely going to be more of them. I’d say about 90% of the wrestlers in WWE right now want to be in AEW.
With the wave of success that AEW has been riding is Kenny correct? Only time will tell but as of now it is looking like WWE is no longer the end all be all.
