Triple H Releases First Statement Since Cardiac Event

Earlier this month it was reported that Triple H had a procedure done that would keep him away from NXT for a while after he suffered what WWE is calling a ‘Cardiac Event’.

Earlier this week Triple H released a statement regarding the situation.

“I’ve been blown away by the outreach and support from so many people, I’m recovering, doing well, & deeply grateful for all the love in my life. Especially grateful for @ShawnMichaels & all the Superstars & crew @WWENXT! (Steph and the girls loved the snacks!) See you soon”

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter last week that Levesque was in good enough shape that he was taking calls: “Everything remains quiet regarding Paul Levesque. We are told that he’s in good enough shape that he is taking calls. Talent was told that they can call him and wish him well but that they are not to talk any WWE business with him.”

While there has been no timetable given for his return, Triple H is said to still have most of his control of NXT. In Triple H’s absence, Kevin Dunn was put in control over NXT 2.0 debut.
