AEW Passes on Buddy Murphy
The wrestling world has seen numerous amount of wrestlers come on the free agency market just to be snatched up by AEW. Andrade El Idilo, Paul Wight, Mark Henery, and Malichi Black are just a few of the signees that have made waves this year. Although this is the situation it looks like AEW won’t be signing everyone on the market.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up the fact that AEW is signing some former WWE Superstars. When it comes to Buddy Matthews, it appears that AEW has already decided against it.
They’ve passed on a lot of people. It looks like they passed on Murphy who is obviously a great, great wrestler.
While Murphy is currently working indie dates it is unknown if he has received any interest from bigger companies. Anywhere Murphy goes he would automatically make an impact on any roster, we will have to wait and see what’s next for Murphy.
