Zack Sabre Jr Asks “Where is The American Dragon?”

Zack Sabre Jr could not have gotten off to a better start at the G1 Climax tournament, not only defeating Tetsuya Naito on the opening night of the tournament and putting him on the shelf with an injury, ending Naito’s G1 Tournament. On the Second night of action for block A Zack Sabre Jr would submit current IWGP Heavyweight Champion the Dragon Shingo Tagaki, following the match Sabre Jr would get on the mic and declare himself as the greatest technical wrestler in the world.

It was back stage comments that were the most interesting following on from his victory over Shingo Tagaki he once again spoke on how he eliminated Naito from the tournament and defeated Shingo Tagaki. Sabre Jr would brag that it was his superior “Tekkers” saw him to victory because he is greatest Technical wrestler ever and would prove it by winning the G1 and becoming IWGP Heavyweight Champion. He would finish off his backstage comments stating that he defeated the Japanese Dragon, refering to Shingo Tagaki and asked “Where is the American dragon, I wonder where”, The American Dragon is of course a moniker formerly used Bryan Danielson.

Of course it is not hard find to find the American Dragon Daniel Bryan as he is currently working in AEW where he recently battled with AEW Champion Kenny Omega to a 30 minute draw. Interestingly enough Bryan Danielson recently mentioned that he would be keen to face Zack Sabre Jr in his home of country of England in an interview on the Rasslin with Brandon Walker Program.
