Like all other promotions, the covid-19 pandemic put a halt to NXT UK live fans being present for shows and to production on the show. The NXT UK brand eventually moved to BT Sports Studios and it looks like things are going well. Now the next step is getting fans back in attendance and we could be close on that happening.
According to TalkSport, WWE is looking to expand the of returning the NXT UK brand to some form of normalcy. They have not been able to welcome live fans into their television tapings since returning to action. There is hope that the wait will come to an end very soon.
TalkSports understands those talks are ongoing and BT Sport are confident they’ll have fans in their studios for tapings, but ‘logistics’ are still being worked out. Naturally, with only two weeks or so until the next tapings, it might come too soon for fans to be in attendance.
While the United States is slowly opening back up the UK has had different mandates placed on it, so it’s taking a little more time for our friends on the other side of the pond to get right.
