Huge Match Reportedly Taking Place at Tonight’s AEW Rampage Taping
Since the moment that Bryan Danielson stepped foot in All Elite Wrestling social media has been flooded with fans and fellow wrestlers gushing over the possible dream matches the American Dragon could have with stars outside of WWE. Names like Darby Allin, Jonathan Gresham, Zack Sabre Jr., and the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega were immediately thrown out as matches that fans were extremely interested in. One match, in particular, is reported to be taking place during tonight’s taping of AEW Rampage, which is set to air this Friday, and it may not be one that many would expect.
According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast Danielson is set to go one-on-one with one half of the Young Bucks, Nick Jackson.
Long-time fans of Jackson are extremely excited about the prospect of the two getting in the ring together. The last time the youngest buck had a singles match was the November 20th, 2019 episode of Dynamite where he went head-to-head with the Lucha Bros.’ Rey Fenix. Another reason fans are excited about the prospect of Jackson facing off with Danielson? That last singles match was awarded four and three-quarter stars by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The possibilities of a Nick Jackson/Bryan Danielson singles match will have fans salivating for the next few days.
The match is reportedly set to take place on Rampage this Friday at 10 p.m Eastern on TNT.
