WWE Camera Man Filmed Cutting Rope In Finn Balor Roman Reigns Match At Extreme Rules
During last Weekends Extreme Rules, we saw a very weird conclusion to the Universal Championship Match. It seemed that The Demon was going to amp himself up enough to win the match and take Reigns’ Universal Title. The top rope ended up buckling out of nowhere leading to “The Deamon” spilling to the canvas and eventually losing.
Fan footage from the Columbus crowd shows that a person appearing to work as a camera person seemed to cut the top rope. A new fan video is circulating that was taken from the crowd and it seems that WWE was caught red-handed.
When the video is zoomed in, it appears as if this “camera person” was holding a knife. That was presumably used to cut the top rope which caused the turnbuckle Balor was standing on to collapse.
This video went viral overnight and it seems that the entire event plays out from this fan’s viewpoint. It is very interesting and gives WWE even more reason to prohibit filming the event from the crowd. They took very careful care not to show that cameraman on-screen during Extreme Rules, but he got plenty of a spotlight in this video.
Below is the video of the spot in question.
