Chelsea Green Reflects On An Incident Involving Tessa Blanchard During All In

It’s no secret to wrestling fans that a load of Controversy has continued to follow Tessa Blanchard. We reported back in September that it was rumored that WWE and AEW weren’t even interested in talking to the former Knockouts Champion due to past incidents and even going as far as saying that Blanchard was had “Nuclear” heat.

Well, it looks like Tessa may have even ruffled some feathers during the first-ever All In show that was held in Chicago on September 1, 2018, During a fatal 4-way match involving Blanchard, Chelsea Green, Madison Rayne, and current AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.

While Speaking on her Green With Envy podcast, Chelsea Green revealed that Blanchard attempted to use her position as the Knockouts Champion to influence the result of their match and make her seem more important than the other competitors.

“We all went up the night before to talk about the matches, or the girls did, to talk about our match. I’m not going to get into the specifics, I’m not going to pull the curtain back all the way, but I will say I will never forget.”

“So we didn’t know who was winning the match until the day of All In, till the afternoon actually of All In. We didn’t even know when we were heading to All In, who was going to win. And Tessa, who was in our match, brought her f*cking Impact Title to the show and tried to come out with it.“

“Now in my mind, it was a way to look better than all of us. Bringing out a title, being the only person to come to a ring with a title, the fans are obviously going to immediately put you above the rest. But also, I feel like she did that because she knew if she came out with the title, she couldn’t lose that title on the show.“

“She couldn’t lose that title on a show that wasn’t Impact Wrestling. At that time, there was no way that that could happen. Nowadays the door is open. Anyone can wrestle anywhere and anyone can lose or win in any company at any given time. It’s wild. But way back when, like a couple of years ago, that wouldn’t happen.”

“And that basically would’ve been a way of strong-arming the higher ups into letting her win. Funny enough, she did still win the match, but we all collectively made sure she didn’t come out with the title. We all kind of came out as equals, thank god.”

Earlier this month it was reported that a company would finally be giving Blanchard another chance and that she would be signing with W.OW(Women Of Wrestling) so we will have to see how things end up for the star.
