Adam Cole Speaks on His Relationship With Shawn Michaels And Triple H During Run With NXT

Adam Cole’s contract with WWE expired in August, and after that happened it didn’t take long for cole to find his way to AEW, debuting at ALL IN.

Cole left the WWE on good terms and in a recent episode of  “AEW Unrestricted” podcast cole spoke oh his time in NXT and the decision to join AEW.

Cole also spoke on his relationship with Shawn Michales And Triple H.

I look at Shawn Michaels, still to this day, as the greatest pro wrestler of all time. He’s the guy I idolize, to this day. He was so, so helpful in getting me to think kind of outside the box in a lot of ways and think about things that I didn’t normally think about.

Cole also talked about his own tendency to focus too much on getting a reaction from the audience. The former NXT Champion said that Michaels and Triple H helped him develop the right mindset for a fight.

Since signing with AEW Cole has teamed up with the young bucks to form the Super Clique and looks to be shooting for a top spot in the company but only time will tell if he made the right move going to AEW.
