This morning AEW took to Twitter to announce a change to an episode Dynamite that was to take place at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans that was scheduled to take place on January 12, 2022.
The tweet states that fans will be able to use their tickets from the original January date. They also gave the option for ticketholders to receive a refund at the point of purchase. The date the company gives is a scheduling conflict.
“Due to a scheduling conflict, the AEW DYNAMITE show on January 12, 2022, at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La., has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
Fans who have already purchased tickets to the New Orleans show will have their original tickets valid for admission to the event on April 13, 2022, or can receive a refund via the point of purchase. AEW thanks fans for their on-going patience. We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans.”
No reason was given for the sudden change but It is conceivable that there could be issues caused by the production of the AEW show that might be problematic. Everything is just speculation until we hear from the arena or Tony Khan himself.
