Big E Wants To See The ‘Forbidden Door’ Opened Between WWE And AEW
Current WWE Champion Big E believes that a ‘forbidden door’ opening between WWE and AEW would be ‘incredible’.
During an appearance on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, the WWE Champion shared his thoughts on Superstars from each promotion talking about the other, be it online or on TV, saying that he believes competition makes everyone better and that he’s a fan of a lot of the things AEW are doing.
“If that’s how you feel, do your thing. I’m all for it. Speaking for me, I think competition makes everyone better. I have friends over there. I have people who I think are incredibly talented, might not be friends, but I’m a fan of so much that is going on over there. I know fans love the sniping and love the back and forth, I think it’s often entertaining too. It’s not really my cup of tea because there are so many people I root for over there and I think competition is great for everyone, all around. I’m glad fans are engaged. It’s not my thing, but do you. People love pot-stirring and it’s interesting. I don’t know if it’s ever feasible, but is that forbidden door going to be open here, between us and them, imagine that, that would be incredible. Something like that I think would be really interesting,” Big E said.
The thought of the forbidden door opening between WWE and AEW is full of dream matches that many can only hope we will see one day, but with the current state of the WWE and with the past of how the chairman Vince Mcmahon does business it will only continue to be a what-if. Big E is set to take on Roman Reigns Sunday at Survivor Series.
