Johnny Gargano has been recognized as the face of NXT due to his amazing matches and feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. He has many nicknames like Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver, and others, and they all have a good reason.
While WWE and NXT continue to go through big changes and as the roster continues to receive a makeover Johnny Wrestling status with the company continues to be a discussion.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Johnny Gargano’s WWE contract expires in early December. So far, he has yet to sign another contract with the company. Due to this, the company is pushing very hard to make him sign another contract.
Johnny Gargano has not signed a new contract, but WWE is pushing very hard for him to do so and evidently made a very strong offer for him to stay here for a long time. His deal is up 12/3.
It remains to be seen what will happen to Johnny Gargano and whether he will one day make his way to the AEW or another Promotion.
