Jim Cornette Criticizes AEW Over Malakai Black’s Booking
Jim Cornette has previously given his opinion on AEW, on both good and bad aspects of the company and how they have booked angles and certain talents. He has now commented on the booking of another AEW star.
Malakai Black was recently aligned with Andrade El Idolo to face Cody Rhodes and The death Triangle and Cornette thinks this booking of Black is taking away from his mystique.
On a recent episode of his The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Malakai Black’s booking in AEW. Cornette criticized AEW for taking the aura off of his character due to his alliance with Andrade.
“It takes all the aura off of Malakai Black’s whole character, who is a spooky, strange person when he is aligning himself with, you know, on a friendly basis or even just a civil basis with heels or babyfaces. He should be a loner guy.”
We will have to see what AEW plans to do with Malakai Black in the near future as he has previously proven that he can get over a singles star.
