Impact Receives All-Time Low Viewership
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling drew 69,000 viewers, which is the lowest number the show has ever pulled in on AXS TV. It’s also down by 9,000 from the previous record low (September 8, 2020) and down from last week’s 111,000. The show had a 0.02 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic (21,000 viewers).
Impact went against the Thursday night NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. That game was watched by 19.4 million, many in the coveted demo. It certainly didn’t help Impact this week.
Impact Wrestling is building up to their Hard to Kill pay-per-view, which takes place on January 8 in Dallas, Texas. Mickie James is set to defend the Knockouts title against Deonna Purrazzo. The first-ever women’s Ultimate X match is also slated for the event.
