Former NXT UK super star Jospeh Connors shocked the British Wrestling Independent scene this past Friday when he made made a surprise appearance at British Wrestling Revolution’s Last Stand show following their Main Event.
Joseph Connors attacked BWR heavyweight Champion Robbie X following his successful defence of the championship against former ROH star Joe Hendrey. Joseph Connors released a cryptic tweet yesterday afternoon simply reading “4/12/21 6pm” sure enough at 6pm yesterday Joseph Connors released a cryptic video with the tag line “No Restrictions”
Later yesterday evening Wrestle Carnival announced that Joseph Connors would be making an appearance at the Carnival of Champions show on the 31st of January where he would address the crowd.
Wrestle Carnival would then make that the announcement that Former WWE NXT UK Star Joseph Connors would be in action at their Thursday Night Carnival on the 17th of February.
We at Bodyslam have been able confirm that Joseph Connors is now a free agent. There has been no official press release from the WWE or NXT UK at this time, so it is not known whether Connors asked for his released, was released or whether his contract expired.

Connors has been part of NXT UK since its inception as competitor in the very first United Kingdom Tournament and has played an integrable ever since, his last appearance in NXT UK was as Jinny valet in her match against Meiko Satomura.
