Jeff Hardy Sent Home From Road This Weekend During WWE’s Texas Live Event Tour
WWE worked a run of house show events in Texas this weekend, however one Superstar has reportedly been pulled from tonight’s event and sent home from the road.
According to a report from Mike Johnson via PWInsider, Jeff Hardy was not present tonight in Corpus Christi, Texas for WWE’s live event at the American Bank Center. The report stated that the word making rounds at the event was that WWE had sent Jeff Hardy home from the road. It was noted that Hardy was replaced by Rey Mysterio on the card, and was not backstage.
The report added that last night during WWE’s live event in Edinburg, Texas, the main event was a six-man tag match with The Bloodline facing off against the team of Xavier Woods, Drew McIntyre, and Jeff Hardy. During the match, Hardy was said to have spent most of his time inside the ring being worked over by Reigns and The Usos. However, he apparently became more and more sluggish as the match continued. Once Hardy eventually made the hot tag to McIntyre, it was said that Hardy disappeared into the crowd along with security, and never returned. Following the match, his partners remained in the ring to celebrate but Hardy never returned to join his teammates.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more regarding Jeff Hardy’s status after reportedly being sent home from the road during this weekend’s WWE live event tour of Texas.
