Charlotte Flair Believes Rhea Ripley Is The Future Face Of WWE’s Women’s Division
It’s no secret Rhea Ripley has been dominating WWE’s women’s division. Long before her main roster debut, Ripley was the face of the NXT black and gold brand.
In a recent interview with Metro, Charlotte Flair gave high praise to Ripley, believing she is the future of the women’s division.
“I’m so proud of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. They have come so far, and they’re only gonna go further. I truly believe Rhea is the future face of the women’s division.”
Flair and Ripley are no strangers to each other, either. They’ve certainly had their fair share of highly competitive matches together.
Ripley became NXT UK’s inaugural women’s champion, the first Australian woman to win a championship in WWE. In December 2019, she would win the NXT Women’s Championship from Shayna Baszler. She’s been part of many moments in NXT history, including the first women’s WarGames match and defending her NXT title against Flair at WrestleMania.
Since her call up to the main roster this year, she had yet another WrestleMania moment when she won the RAW Women’s Championship from Asuka. After losing her title, Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. would become tag team champions, losing them back in November.
