WWE Signs Former College Football Player Alema Collins
Over the past couple of years, WWE has been going through numerous changes and has shifted what they look for when it comes to their developmental signings.
Along with the number of mass releases that have taken place over the past year, the company has also seen an influx of new talent.
On Sunday, WWE announced that Alema Collins, former Ottawa University in Arizona football star has officially signed with the company. The 6-4 255 pounder had a workout last week at WWE’s Performance Center. Collins took to Instagram and made it clear that he is very excited about his new career.
“First I want to take this time to thank God for this amazing experience that I was so blessed to be a part of, over these last couple days I’ve been so blessed to be in a room surrounded with greatness. So excited to see what comes NXT!!! [face with look of triumph emoji] Stay Tuned!!!,”
Collins can now be added to a very prestigious list of former Collegiate football stars turned WWE stars including The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Baron Corbin, and Titus O’Neil just to name a few.
