WWE Have Big Plans For AJ Styles And Omos After Split
Last night, during RAW, weeks of being on a different page finally came to a head. The former RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos officially ended their partnership.
The two went to blows during a match between the Mysterios when Omos refused to tag in Styles. Now, we are learning what is next for both superstars. Aside from a head-to-head match between the two being announced for next week’s episode of RAW, Wrestlevotes took to Twitter to state that there are big plans for each of the two stars going into the new year.
“If it felt like they sped up the Omos & AJ Styles split, it’s because they did. Source says both superstars have significant plans in early 2022 and wanted any type of blow-off program done prior to the major Rumble & Mania events.”
While it is not yet known how Omos will do as a singles wrestler, or how WWE will utilize him, many fans took to Twitter to express their excitement. Many hope that Styles will once again be set in the main event position.
