Exclusive: Details Regarding Gabriel Kidd Returning to the UK
NJPW strong star Gabriel Kidd is returning home to the UK for the first time in almost 3 years, Kidd (24) recently graduated from the NJPW LA Dojo, after spending the majority of 2020 in Japan due to travel restrictions.
Kidd returned to the LA Dojo late in 2021 before making his much anticipated debut for NJPW Strong delivering an impassioned promo announcing his return to action before challenging current ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham to a match. Since then Gabriel Kidd has faced Eddie Kingston for NJPW strong as well as making a couple of appearances on the US independent scene.
Yesterday it was reported that Kidd will be returning to the UK in the New year, he was announced for the British Wrestling Promotion Wrestle Carnival at their Carnival of Champions show on the 30th of January. It would seem that Kidd is planning a whirl wind tour whilst there, he was announced late last night for North wrestling NCL’s “Loosing My Edge” on the 5th of February in Newcastle where he will be facing with young veteran Robbie X.
Bodyslam can exclusively reveal that Kidd will be the UK for at least 2 weeks, possibly 3 so expect to see more Gabriel Kidd announcements from British wrestling promotions, it s likely we’ll see Kidd back in a Rev Pro UK ring for the first time since joining the LA Dojo.

Kidd is originally form Nottingham England, where he’ll be returning to during his UK stay with Wrestle Carnival, Kidd originally came up in the British Wrestling scene at the age of16 with House of Pain Wrestling in Nottingham.
