Miro Reportedly Worked Through Hamstring Injury
Former AEW TNT Champion Miro has not wrestled a match for the promotion since his mid-November loss to Bryan Danielson at Full Gear. Fightful has given more clarity on his situation.
According to Fightful Select, Miro has battled a hamstring injury in recent weeks. Miro had only wrestled twice since losing the TNT Championship on September 29th, but neither of those matches were planned. This also explains why his leg was taped up during recent matches.
Miro had replaced Jon Moxley in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament and defeated Orange Cassidy on November 3, before a losing effort to the tournament’s winner. There has been no timetable given for Miro’s return, although he’s remained active on television through vignettes calling out God.
