The middleweight main card opener for UFC 270 between Rodolfo Viera and Wellington Turman has been scrapped. Viera has pulled out of the event due to undisclosed medical reasons, per ESPN Deportes.
This brings the UFC 270 card down to twelve fights and likely means that Vieira had issues with his weight cut, as he has had problems with his weight cuts several times in the past. Oliveira vs Gravely will now open the pay-per-view, moving up from the early preliminaries.
