Kenny Omega’s AEW Return TimeTable Is Still In Question
Kenny Omega had a great 2021. Not only did the self-proclaimed “Belt Collector” hold multiple championships from a number of different promotions, but he also for the second time topped PWI’s 500 lists.
Omega is now taking some time off for injury, after last being defeated by Adam Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.
Along with that Omega was also forced to vacate the AAA Championship after it was learned he was dealing with multiple injuries and some would require surgery.
There was no expected timetable for his return to the ring, but any return now may be pushed back a little further now.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that there was a plan for Kenny Omega’s comeback. The former AEW World Champion was initially set for a March return but that timeline is once again up in the air.
Hopefully, Kenny Omega can make a full recovery and get back in the ring as soon as possible but his health is obviously the number one priority, and that is exactly how it should be.
