Jon Jones has been relatively quiet on- no I’m sorry I can’t even type that out. Jon Jones has once again called for a fight on his Twitter page, this time calling out the consensus best heavyweight of all time Stipe Miocic for a battle that he describes as “Best Heavyweight of all time vs Best Light Heavyweight Of All Time.”
Jones was last in the octagon almost two years ago when he defeated Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 to retain his Light Heavyweight Title that he later vacated, citing his move up to heavyweight as the reason. Stipe on the other hand has been happy to sit on the side-lines and await another title shot, possibly in a trilogy bout with Francis Ngannou if the UFC meat Ngannou’s monetary demands. It is worth noting that this fight is not official, nor is there an idea if bout agreements have been sent out.
