Jon Moxley Returning To NJPW For Windy City Riot
Whether it’s “Death Rider” or the “Boogeyman of NJPW,” Jon Moxley is by far one of the biggest and most notable stars of the wrestling world and a crucial member of the New Japan roster amidst the promotion’s U.S. expansion.
The former AEW and WWE World Champion will be making his way back to a New Japan ring when the company hosts the “Windy City Riot” event in Chicago, Illinois on April 16 at the Odeum Expo Center.
Several big stars have been announced, including Will Ospreay, Jay White, and Tomohiro Ishii. Now, fans can add Jon Moxley to that list, as he was announced via NJPW of America’s Twitter account.
Moxley has not competed for NJPW since wrestling at NJPW STRONG Showdown in Philadelphia on October 17. Moxley teamed with Eddie Kingston to battle Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer at the event.
