Both fighters in the UFC 271 main event Saturday have both made weight for the bout early on Friday morning. Both “The Reaper” and “The Last Stylebender” weighed in at 184 pounds, one pound under the championship limit for Middleweight. Both fighters seemed to be in good spirits on the scales with Israel poking fun at those questioning his pec muscles and if he’s on PED’s.
Elsewhere on the card, William Knight weighed in at 217 pounds, twelve pounds over the Light Heavyweight limit and his bout with Maxim Grishin will now be a heavyweight bout, per the UFC. Alex Perez also missed weight for his flyweight contest with Matt Schnell, weighing in at 128 pounds.
