Keith Lee Will Be Huge For AEW
The “Limitless” Keith Lee debuted in All Elite Wrestling this week, competing to earn the right to appear on AEW’s next big Pay-Per-View event, Revolution.
A future TNT title shot will be on the line at Revolution in March. The “Face Of The Revolution” ladder match will no doubt feature several high calibre names to battle it out. A match with Sammy Guevara, for his title, will be up for grabs.
Lee came out to a thunderous reaction from the crowd. The 300+ pound star made relatively quick work of Isiah Kassidy (Member of Private Party and the Andrade Hardy Family Office) and punched his ticket to the AEW PPV next month.
At this moment in time, it feels unlikely that Lee would win the ladder match and go on to have the huge title match with Sammy.
He is, however, a spectacle.
This man could very easily become a champion within AEW already and be a well-respected one.
His charisma alone can carry him through to high places but with his in-ring ability and general appearance taken into account, he is sure to thrive in AEW or any promotion that allows him to do so.
If he were to win the ladder match at Revolution, I would be inclined to believe that he would go on to beat Guevara and hold the TNT championship for a while.
If he weren’t to win the ladder match and were to start a personal feud, to acclimatise to his new surroundings and such, that would also be fine too. It takes a special talent to be a smug baby face.
The longer Keith Lee is on television, the more people will see the potential world champion that he is.
