WWE Smackdown See’s A Rise In Viewership
Friday’s episode of Smackdown continued to build storylines heading into Elimination Chamber. So how would viewership turn out?
According to spoiler TV, the February 12th episode of SmackDown brought in 2.0745 million overnight average viewers with a .5 in the 18 to 49 demographic. The 2022 Winter Olympic Games averaged over 6.5 million viewers.
The February 4th edition of SmackDown drew a two-hour overnight average of 2.0005 million viewers. They also scored a .5 in the 18 to 49 demographic. They also had some stiff competition against the Olympics which brought in over 9 million viewers. Celebrity Big Brother also brought in over 2 million viewers.
The January 28th episode of SmackDown scored 2,217,000 viewers for the go-home blue brand episode before the 2022 Royal Rumble event. They also racked in a .56 in the 18 to 49 demographic. January 21st’s episode of SmackDown brought in an overnight average of 2.136 million viewers with a .6 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The January 14th edition of WWE SmackDown brought in 2.06 million viewers. They also brought in a .50 in the 18 to 40 demographic. The January 7th edition of WWE SmackDown brought in 2.16 million viewers and a .55 in the 18 to 49 demographic. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar’s showdown likely helped that rating along.
