This week’s special edition of AEW Rampage: Slam Dunk aired three hours earlier than their usual timeslot, something that many fans spoke highly of throughout the program. However, the program itself took the headlines as former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White had an exceptional match with Trent in the main event, Will Hobbs and Dante Martin put on a scintillating show to determine who would be vie for the opportunity to become the face of a revolution and Dark Order’s Pres10 Vance sought out to prove that it’s not all about “the boom.”
Results:
- Adam Page defeated Dark Order’s 10.
- Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Dante Martin to qualify for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at AEW Revolution.
- Serena Deeb defeated Angelica Risk in The Professor’s Five-Minute Rookie Challenge.
- Jay White defeated Trent Beretta.
Powerhouse Hobbs will be joining Wardlow and Keith Lee in the match at Revolution, with three more spots to be determined. AEW also confirmed the challengers for Women’s Champion Britt Baker and World Champion Adam Page, as Thunder Rosa and Adam Cole receive championship opportunities, respectively.
