UFC Vegas 48: Jamahal Hill Stops Johnny Walker With Vicious KO
Saturday night in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, the UFC held a fight night card where Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker were thrust into the main event 5 round fight after a late visa issue moved Fiziev/RDA to UFC 272 and they did not disappoint with Hill putting Walker out in the very first round, putting the whole Light Heavyweight division on notice.
Hill moves to 10-1 in his MMA career with 6 finishes. Hill’s lone loss on his record is due to a TKO loss at the hands of crafty grappler Paul Craig, who dislocated Hill’s shoulder before the stoppage. With names like Walker and Ovince Saint Preux on his resume, its likely a rematch with Craig could be on the cards for the top prospect following his latest KO win, certainly a top ten fighter should be next. In his post fight interview he didn’t name names but looks to be fighting a top contender next.
