Heavyweight boxing number one Tyson Fury believes he will not only fight UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou but will also set new PPV records when himself and “The Predator” square off.
Fury told IFL TV: “I’m gonna fight Francis Ngannou in Las Vegas next year, next March or February… I believe it breaks all pay-per-view records in the United States. Two Heavyweights, champions going head to head.” The UFC have been cold to lukewarm at best with the idea of their heavyweight champion stepping into a boxing ring but with Francis, Tyson and Eddie Hearn all stoking the fire, it may not leave the UFC brass much choice but to allow and co-promote a second boxing match in five years.
