Mick Foley Files For Trademark On The Cactus Jack Name

Mick Foley is known around the world as one of the pioneers of the hardcore wrestling scene. Cactus Jack is one of the most dangerous characters in the history of the industry and a name that Foley used in every major promotion he stepped foot in.

Foley recently filed for trademark protection on the “Cactus Jack” name. The USPTO listing notes that Foley filed through Michael Dockins on February 18. The filing reads as follows:

“G & S: Hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts”, as well as “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, providing podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, providing video podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

Foley has been using the Cactus Jack character on merchandise that you can purchase on his PWTees store. Foley is one of the biggest name’s in wrestling history, as the 3x WWE Champion is one of its most beloved figures.
