Sinead Kavanagh came up short in her first fight with Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg but following her win over Leah McCourt at Bellator 275 in the 3 Arena, Scott Coker confirmed that Kavanagh will get her second shot at Cris Cyborg.
Kavanagh had to tough through an apparent injury to her leg during the all Irish bout at one point collapsing onto her back due to the pain of her injury, shortly after the completion of the bout, Coker announced on the broadcast about the news. Last time out, Cris Cyborg won in round 1, breaking Kavanagh’s orbital.
