Last week, MJF delivered the best promo of his career. It was not only the best promo of MJF’s career, but it was an all time great promo and one that will be remember until the end of time. You know a promo is an all time great when Dave Melter, someone who has seen the most wrestling out of anyone in history, says it.
What made this promo so great? To start, MJF’s promo addressed Punk’s promo from two weeks ago where he showed a picture of a young MJF with CM Punk in an autograph signing. While for Punk that was a normal Friday, but for MJF it meant everything. For MJF, this was the beginning of his pro-wrestling journey and his dream to become a pro-wrestler.
MJF’s promo gave all of us a peak behind the life of MJF and what inspired him to become a pro-wrestler. The promo and feud with Punk felt like something similar with Batman (Punk) creating indirectly his biggest nemesis with The Joker (MJF) through his actions and the consequences of his actions are now starting to appear upon him.
The promos from MJF and Punk have heated up big time this feud just in time for Revolution. The collar match between Punk and MJF is now a must-see match for AEW fans and those interested to purchase the PPV.
This promo cemented the fact that MJF is one of or if not the best promo guy in the world. The promo also showed that MJF could be a great babyface one day and a damn good one too.
