Chavo Guerrero Comments On Possible AEW Departure
Chavo Guerrero made his AEW debut in July of last year, aligning with Andrade El Idolo. His debut was met with positive feedback and it looked like this pairing had potential, but that wasn’t the case.
As quickly as the relationship started, the relationship seemed to have gone south. In September, Andrade delivered a beat down to Chavo after tension began to arise between the two seemingly, being a way for AEW to write Chavo off of television.
It was reported that the reason for this was due to his position on the Young Rock series. It seems that Chavo is out of All Elite Wrestling altogether after a tweet brought to his attention that he’s no longer on AEW’s roster page.
Chavo had previously tweeted a more detailed response which has since been deleted. The tweet stated:
“That’s news to me! I guess having @TonyKhan telling me to go film Young Rock Season 2, & my job will be waiting for me when I’m done, didn’t mean much.”
Bodyslam will continue to monitor the situation regarding AEW and Chavo Guerrero.
