Editorial: A Terrible Interview
NOTE: This is an editorial. The opinions are those of the writer alone, and do not reflect those of the website.
Last week, Pat McAfee had Vince McMahon on his show for an “interview” and let me tell you, that was not an interview and this DID NOT HUMANIZE Vince McMahon of all people.
Pat McAfee and Vince McMahon were not part of an interview, what there were part of was the first steps for McAfee to be involved at WrestleMania and Vince was just the catalyst to this. To call this an interview is an insult for journalism and actual interviews.
While some people claim this “interview” humanized Vince McMahon, a laughable statement, on the same “interview” he said that he found it easy to fire people now that he has to think about investors and shareholders rather than wrestlers and their families. But please keep talking about how this joke of an interview humanized McMahon.
No new information was learnt about Vince McMahon, much of the “new” information was already public knowledge through previous reports and news about Vince McMahon and WWE. This was not trailblazing and game-changing. The only new information we learnt is that maybe Vince McMahon divorced Linda, but Pat McAfee is so incompetent on this joke of an interview that he didn’t pay attention to this and didn’t asked a follow up question to this.
To anyone thinking this was an interview, I suggest to you to go to google and search for journalism books, so you can learn what an interview really is. And to those thinking this humanized Vince McMahon, I suggest you go and sick help.
